I don't understand the size limitation for a crap game compo. It seems like they're trying to make it look like a proper, optimized game programming compo. Around 1999 and a few years on, there was a C64CGC but it didn't quite pick up the humor of the CSSCGC, and most games also were quite polished in machine code, although not very good ones. Almost like a C64 Mediocre Game Compo. Perhaps the outcome will be more interesting this time.

That may seem quite large for older consoles,computers but it isn't all that large for c64.I guess it depends on how versatile a person wants the charset,sprite frames.Some people sent in their entries in a day or two so I'm expecting some very low quality games.Of course compression is a rule I think"exomizer,pucrunch ect.."my own entry is handled in 2x2 blocks instead of 1x1 to save on space.I'm sure some mediocre and good quality games will be entered also,kinda fun to implement bad ideas and it's encouraged
