BoOchan!
I know Super Breakout was one of them as that was the FANTASTIC Pack In!
Vic George 2K3
Super Breakout, Galaxian, Pac-Man, and Space Invaders, far as I know.
Video
I remember when i got a 5200 in the late 80's, I was mad cause I got Pac-Man (I got the box with the sticker "Pac-Man replaces Super Breakout in this package") I have never liked Pac-Man, but I at the time really loved Breakout.
sku_u
Ironically, Asteroids was supposed to be the first game released for the Atari 5200. It was never officially released for obvious reasons.
Tempest
Ironically, Asteroids was supposed to be the first game released for the Atari 5200. It was never officially released for obvious reasons. I'm not sure how great Asteroids would have been as a pack in game even without the controller issues. It really is a lazy mans conversion (sorry Todd!). http://www.atariprotos.com/5200/software/a...s/asteroids.htm Tempest
+Cafeman
I got Pac-man as the pack-in (remember pack-ins? ), and I was elated because it was Pac-Man, not 2600 Pac-Man. Now we were playing with POWER! I played so, so much Pac-Man, and we were all so pleased with the non-blinking and fast visuals, the loud sound FX, the intermissions, the challenge. I liked how it was slightly different from the coin-op version (different pattern, wider mazes), it made Pac-Man fresh again. Also Pac-Man was still very popular at this time and not nearly as worn-out as some seem to indicate.
tyranthraxus
I'm surprised this question has stumped the AA 5200 experts for so many days. So I did what I probably should have done in the first place and checked the online catalogs. Here's the list from the first catalog: Asteroids (unreleased as discussed) Centipede Defender Galaxian Missile Command Pac-Man Qix Realsports Baseball Realsports Football Realsports Soccer Space Invaders Star Raiders Super Breakout Not the most impressive list of launch titles apart from Pac-man being quite popular at the time. Perhaps this would be good FAQ material
Brian R.
Hmm... but just because those were the games listed in the first catalog may not mean they were all the launch titles.

I think the rest were released pretty close to the original launch date though.

0078265317
Look at the box pic number 4. Copyright 1982. https://www.ebay.com/itm/303680386291 Search for gremlins 5200 it says 1986 not 1982 or 82-86. So 1982 was the release year. It was one of the first ones.
