The Maxx
I started a new game... http://atariage.com/forums/topic/263607-no-touchy-atari-2600/ Edited March 24, 2017 by The Maxx
eebuckeye
That is a cool take on the 'classic' game. :-) Does that mean Wumpus is done?
The Maxx
I hesitate to call anything finished. I prefer "playable". Haha. There's almost always a bug or two left behind. I have had games that I returned to a year or so after I thought they were finished and added or changed stuff. For example, I became frustrated with my version of Picross and stopped playing with it for nearly a year before I decided to make it an html5 game instead of an Android game. I don't know whether or not there will be any cartridges made of my bB games. I have been in communication with Albert about a Mine Dig cartridge and the prospects look good that it might happen.
StanJr
I would buy this and Mine Dig on cart without hesitation. Mine Dig is one of the toughest games I have ever played.

Tangentg
reminds me of a browser game I played... How do you know where the Wumpus is though? Kinda got confused looking at the video where the arrow was shot cause I don't see the Wumpus on the map screen or hear any sound cue. The Maxx
The room will be marked red if it is within two rooms of a wumpus... green if it is next to a pit. In the TI-99/4a game, it would show the map when a round was finished/lost. Unfortunately, this version does not because it is outside my ability... or at least I couldn't think of a good way to do it. :/

StanJr
I don't think you ever really 100% know the location of the Wumpus, I think you have to try to narrow it down and then take an educated shot. At least that's how I play it.

MemberAtarian
I really love the little animations. I did nearly the same with the playfield on Apollyon, but this is more detailed.

r_chase
Funnily enough, I was thinking of making a Hunt the Wumpus type game using an IF type program myself, then out of curiousity I decided to google "hunt the wumpus atari 2600" and found this. I'm probably gonna try this game out. It actually looks neat tbh.
