DarQ Massacres
BONUS POINTS! my favorite show growing up was Pokemon, which sounds kind of childish, but I was a child, I don't know why I liked it so much, but I did and still do to this day. Maybe it was because I had a very large interest in the card game that kept my interest with the show alive.
DarQ Massacres
looks like the bonus points are all Im getting this time.......... He-man won't work for me.
+KaeruYojimbo
Bonus! My favorite cartoon growing up was Dungeons and Dragons, which is weird because I've never been able to get into the game and I'm not much of a fantasy fan. I'm not really sure why I liked it so much. Maybe because it had more of a story than the other cartoons at the time. There have been other shows I've liked more since, but D&D is the first one I made a point to watch every Saturday morning. +KaeruYojimbo
He-man won't work for me. Possibly because, for whatever dumb reason, the right difficulty switch is not only used to pause the game, but has to be in A for the game to run.
Skippy B. Coyote
Might as well go for the bonus right away. Favorite Cartoon - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic There's a dozen different reasons why I like this show (the first 4 seasons at least), from the heartwarming stories to the witty dialog and overarching theme of how to be a good person and treat others well. But at the end of the day I think it really just comes down to the fact that I am very fond of the main character, Twilight Sparkle.
toiletunes
My favorite cartoon was Underdog, because it was something I got to do with my father.
karokoenig
Favourite cartoon: The Flintstones. Watched it with my dad all the time as a kid. I already knew at that point that men and dinosaurs didn't live together on Earth, but what the hell - the thought of having a pet dinosaur was too cool. Also, the German translation was very well-done, and they did some very creative things with language which would be hard to explain here.

I wish my German was better. It'd be kind of fascinating to see how the translators handled all the puns and wordplay.
Skippy B. Coyote
Getting on to the games for this round, I have never played He-Man before and have only briefly played Popeye for a few minutes once or twice, but Smurf was one of my favorite games as a kid so I figured I'd start with that one. I spent about an hour practicing it tonight and actually managed to set a new personal best high score in the process. Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle (B/B Difficulty, Default Settings): 63,
CapitanClassic
Robotech (Macross / Southern Cross / Invid Invasion) What's not to like? Giant mechs controlled my humans, fighting giant aliens. A love triangle between the main hero, a beautiful but immature girl, and his own commander. Unlike other cartoons of the era, it was a serial instead of episodic. Like Voltron before it, it featured beautiful Japanese animation. RJ
No gameplay for me this time. Every Saturday at 6am I'd sneak down to the family/rec room & watch 5 hours of cartoons, & I never missed the "Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show" which was 90 min of various Warner Bros cartoons. I liked them because the Bugs Bunny humor wasnt so low brow, & I liked the gadgets & methods Wile E. Coyote used to try to catch the Road Runner.

AtariWarlord
The first eight seasons of The Simpsons will always be my favourite show, cartoon or otherwise. EDIT: I realize that I never pointed out why it's my favourite. Well, to me it's simply the best example of television comedy writing of all time. It was something everyone could enjoy, whether you were a kid laughing at Homer's pratfalls or an adult picking up on the classic literary and film references. oyamafamily
BONUS - My favorite cartoon is Woody Woodpecker (Classic Version - 1940 to 1972, produced by Walter Lantz). In Brazil it's named Pica-Pau. Because I love the classics and there were very funny characters (Buzz Buzzard, Gabby Gator, Ms. Meany etc.) and stories, and nice voices / settings / musics. One of episodes which I consider more fun to watch is "Pecking Holes in Poles". Edited April 26, 2017 by oyamafamily
