Swami
I'm looking into finding a PAL 7800 that also works with the concerto. It would play 7800 and 2600 PAL carts and play PAL roms on the concerto. This seems like kind of a big order, so I am wondering if anyone has had success with this and what 7800 revision they used. Thanks! Also, would anyone recommend a power supply that would allow the PAL 7800 to work in the USA. I have few Radioshack Universal power supplies that are 100 - 240V in 1A and 3A variety and basically every plug adapter made for it (about 14 of them I think), so I'm thinking this would work. +Mitch
A standard US 7800 power supply will work fine with a PAL 7800. The bigger issue is finding a TV that is compatible with it. I haven't tested my Concerto cart with any of my PAL 7800s that I can remember. I would think there is at least one PAL user who has tried it though. Mitch Yeah, a CRT is out the window, but my VIZIO 32" LCD has no problems with PAL PS2 consoles.

Mitch There were a couple europeans involved in the concerto discussion thread, but I don't know if they actually had concerto carts or not. I may just opt for a 16-in-1 mateos cart, although being limited to 16 roms and the lack of SD card has always made me hesitant. Especially since all games seem to work on my concerto, sans POKEY. However, there is so much variability in concerto compatibility it may be necessary. For instance, one of my Serial X 7800s loads all games of all sizes, while the other crashes with large roms about 70% of the time and has strange graphics with them. Mayhem
A standard US 7800 power supply will work fine with a PAL 7800. May depend on the console model and the power supply. My PAL 7800 doesn't work with a stepdown enhanced US supply, and my NTSC 7800 doesn't work with my UK supply.

Swami
My Concerto wortks on PAL and NTSC. Could I get a whole or partial serial number on the PAL console? Especially letters, apparently. That would probably give me a 30% change of finding a reasonably compatible one.
