If something is missing on the list - let know to Xeen.

Like I wrote in the previous year: if you like new games on Atari 8-bit, the best way to say "thank you" to the games creators is to vote for their works :) The more people vote, the broader picture we get, as people have different tastes.

I like these 'delayed' Kaz Kompo's as there's always a few games that I've missed or not played enough, and this time there was a real goodie, Cyctriks! [maybe I had played an early version]

cyctriks.png

1. Atari Blast! - Not quite the best shooter we have but it has to be #1 for the sheer frickin awesomeness. Great work guys

2. Rain Of Terror - Spot on gameplay. Read my review in the new issue of Pro© Atari Magazine OUT NOW

3. Actris v2.1 - Best Tetris on the Atari? "you can't touch this" :music:

4. Cyctriks - think "Cyclic Tetris" this is really good and extremely playable, the pieces shrink as they fall down the tube - up to rotate, fire for controlled drop, can tuck them under too. [after some play got about 88 lines level 16 - once you have got used to the perspective it takes a while to get challenging, speeds up about level 15]

5. Blowsub v1.1 - Colourful arcade game (Pro© Mag #12)

6. Manic Miner - Challenging platformer

7. Space Fortress Omega (abbuc/unreleased version) - news on the much improved and final release of SFO soon ;)

8. Jim Slide - fun game.

9. Laura - a quality production.

10. Dye - Nice idea

Honourable mentions to:

Ratcatcher - not as much fun on 1 player mode - caught 9 rats on 1st stage - can't seem to get any bonus it just displays "00", made it to level 3 I guess it's meant to be 2(3!) player, checkout this amusing video for how to play.

Also liked Antic Picross II

Pang - (192K) cleverly done but not overly exciting perhaps. Is there no way this could be made to run on a standard 130XE?

2. Cyctriks - think "Cyclic Tetris" this is really good and extremely playable, the pieces shrink as they fall down the tube - up to rotate, fire for controlled drop, can tuck them under too.

Yes, it's a "cyclic Tetris", but there's also one thing that could be mentioned: "cyc" means "tit" in Polish, which explains the facetious central part of the gamefield.
