+ZeroPage Homebrew
Today (7PM PT/10PM ET) on our LIVE Twitch stream we'll be trying to get as far as we can in Princess Rescue (maybe rescue the Princess?) and then on Friday (2PM PT/5PM ET) we'll have three games we haven't played on the show before! Juno First, T.R.A.S.H. (WIP), Stay Frosty (from Stella's Stocking). Please feel free to suggest any awesome WIP games that we've been overlooking! Edited June 6, 2018 by cimmerian

+SpiceWare
20180803 Let's Play: Gingerbread Man, Space Rocks, Toyshop Trouble Had not seen this before, watched a little bit of it while waiting on a compile for work. The Easter Egg is triggered by holding both joystick buttons while at the menu (easiest to do if you hold the right one first). No need to fiddle with power, reset, or select. That link gives info on the 3 Easter Eggs in Space Rocks. Also the Easter Egg text is slightly off on your system, some of the letters don't have spacing between them - see Shawn & Brandin (my brother & nephew) as an example. Likely similar to the issue alex_79 saw with the 128 pixel bus stuffing demo.
Thomas Jentzsch
Yes, James Atari is a bit special. E.g. the playfield updates are 1 color clocks slower.

+ZeroPage Homebrew
Thanks everybody who tuned in to watch the super fun Atari 2600 Homebrew Hack's livestream episode yesterday. I just posted YouTube archive link to the episode in the top post (20180829 episode). If you have any more great hacked 2600 games that you'd like me to include in another episode of hacks, leave your favourites here or PM me! :-) EDIT: As Thomas pointed out below, I am looking for hacks that not just alter the graphics but add something significant in terms of either gameplay, level design etc.. Thomas Jentzsch
I think most of the hacks listed are not suited to the requirements James has mentioned in his stream, because they are just graphic hacks. James is looking for hacks which e.g. change the game play or add some real value to a game. Graphical hacks are usually only interesting for a few minutes. almightytodd
I love the name of this... ...was the ZeroPage concept unique to the 6502? Or did other architectures also use it?
Thomas Jentzsch
It is (or was) used quite frequently: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_page
