m_emelchenkov
I looking for Atari-style DB9 male sockets for joysticks. Preferred — Vertex original ones, but modern is acceptable too. I tried Ali, everybody sells NES and Sega clones with these sockets but nobody sells sockets separately. Asking sellers who sells SNES sockets gave no results. Where to buy spare parts? Shipping from China/EU preferred.
masschamber
they're incredibly common off the shelf part here is an example https://www.ebay.com/itm/5Pcs-RS232-DB9-9Pin-Male-90-Degree-Lock-Fork-Plug-PCB-Solder-Connectors-DB9/173019627314?hash=item2848c5ff32:g:bCoAAOSwD0lUgKWK
m_emelchenkov
It is computer DB9, not game console. For game consoles they are plastic, look at any Sega, Vectrex, etc.
m_emelchenkov
Luckily, I've negotiated the shipping with one of US-based sellers of these items, and the topic can be closed now.

m_emelchenkov
I've got the connectors I ordered, and should to say they are really good. Here are photos. The package (it was in a box with air bags inside): New connectors: Left — an old (original) one, right — the new one. A motherboard with installed new connector, unsoldered yet.
