Mclaneinc
Saw a link to this elsewhere, hope its not been posted already.. Has our own super hero, Kevin Savetz in it as well as a wealth of stars of our gaming world (in general).. Not looked at it much (only just found it) but did seem very interesting.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApokWvnUjIE Edited April 27, 2019 by Mclaneinc
bfollowell
I've always been a huge fan of Interactive Fiction in general, and Infocom and Scott Adams specifically. I'll definitely add that to my Watch Later list. Thanks for sharing.
+DrVenkman
Cool - added to my Watch Later list as well. Of course, any fan in interactive fiction should check out the Digital Antiquarian - he’s documented the creation of a *lot* of IF stuff and Infocom titles in particular. https://www.filfre.net/sitemap/
tschak909
Watched the live stream. I am so glad that the Infocom games have been liberated and curated. For the first time in history, a _very_ large cache of ZIL code is now out in the open, not only for academic study, but also to use as a base for new interactive fiction using ZIL (to complement efforts being done in Inform, Twine, etc.) This is precisely how each of the Infocom games were made, BITD, by building a kernel of code around the game closest to the one you were trying to make, and subsequently extending it. The code is here: https://github.com/historicalsource Mirror the whole thing, if you can, there's good history here, and we need mirrors of it. -Thom Edited April 27, 2019 by tschak909
