Area 51 no sound or image on screen

I recently bought an Area 51 arcade. Everything turns on but I get no sound or picture on the monitor. Any suggestions?

Is this a Co-Jag machine or dedicated unit? If a Co- Jag them perhaps try asking in the Jaguar Forum my illicit more help, if nit a Co-Jag them perhaps try the Arcade and Pinball forum (maybe provide a link to this post so that all the responses are posted here and thus all in one place). 

 

Have you tried either connecting to another display or connecting an alternative known to be working audio/video source to the display?

That may at least indicate if it is the problem is likely to be with the circuit boards/hard drive or the display.

I just ordered a compact flash card to replace the hdd so that should tell me whether it's the drive or the board
