+Larry
Stellar Track was a Sears Telegames strategy game (not a shoot-em-up) for the 2600. It was fairly difficult to complete as I remember. Is there anything very similar/port for the A8?

hwrd
If I ever see an 800 version floating around, I'll post a link. Below is a link to Apple Trek, it might fill any "Stellar Track" hunger. www.atarimania.com
Trying to figure out how different this title is compared to the myriads of Star Trek games we already have.

+remowilliams
On the A8 we have the luxury of added horsepower, so just play http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-star-fleet-i_4980.html
Lord Thag
Check out Star Fleet I: The War Begins by Dr Trevor Sorensen. It's based off the old Trek mainframe game just like Stellar Trak was, but it adds all kinds of great stuff (a campaign, way more systems, boarding enemy ships etc). It's probably the best 'upgrade' of the old Trek mainframe game, and there's a native Atari port.

I'm not sure how different they are, since I haven't had a 2600 for many years. (I bailed out to a ColecoVision -- probably a mistake, but the games and graphics were significantly better.) But yes, looking at Atarimania, it does have quite a selection. Everything else being equal, I'd probably lean toward the Star Trek 3.5 (Adventure International). I also found some excellent documentation at http://www.retrobits.net/atari/aitrek.shtml#ch30
