Password menu idea

I understand the password entry screen is the way it is because it uses the existing menu system, and writing something new would be time consuming.

 

I had this idea... Lay the letters out on a single screen in grid fashion, with let's say 10 symbols per line (whatever, it doesn't matter)

 

WiFi Password:  PASSWOR_

  A   B   C   D   E   F   G   H   I   J 
  K   L   M   N   O   P   Q   R   S   T
  U   V   W   X   Y   Z
  a   b   c   d   e   f   g   h   i   j
  k   l   m   n   o   p   q   r   s   t

  0   1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8   9 
  "   '   `   ~   ~   +   \   |   /   @

Then you have all symbols on the one page. 
Now use the standard menu system to select a row first, which takes you to another menu with just the items on that row, but now one per line.

Also... lowercase...

Anyway, I thought this might be easy to implement with the current menus, and an improvement.
