Mr Robot
It's pretty simple in character drawing Art mode space = palette of colours/characters, the default is petcii but you can click on it to change to atascii. on the colours, left button picks foreground colour, right button selects background colour a = paint e = erase scroll wheel zooms in/out on cursor there is a lot of functionality that can be used in ansi that you can't use in atascii so just ignore all that. simple cut and paste works (ctrl+d turns off selection) not really very useful on a 40x24 image but for larger petscii/ansi images its useful. on export any character with a non-black background colour is inverse all other colour info is dropped. All the extra functionality can be used to create stuff like this https://playscii.tumblr.com/
