Atarimax Beef Drop high-score table Easter egg

This evening, I was watching this video discussing the 5200 Atarimax cartridge.  The person narrating fired up the version of Beef Drop that was included with the cartridge.  Here's a still image of the high-score table:

 

 

It's a direct reference to the one shown on the Tempest machine in the movie Night of the Comet:

 

 

Couldn't find anyone having noticed this, so figured I'd mention it.  Night of the Comet is one of my all-time favourite movies, so this was a very nifty thing to notice

Awesome that Ken left this wonderful and mysterious footprint in the game so that we can always connect with something he loved! In this way, he lives on forever.

I actually just played this game for the first time yesterday when I got my atarimax. I thought the high score table seemed odd...

I've never seen the movie actually so I wouldn't have known anything about it without this thread. Guess I need to watch that movie sometime ehh?
