Neon Rocketship
Good afternoon, folks. Back in 1987, I had a birthday party at the Aladdin's Castle arcade in the Laurel Mall in Hazleton, PA. My grandfather took a roll's worth of pictures, and I've been trying to identify each of the games that were in the arcade that day. I've got pretty much all of them, but there's one that I haven't had any luck with. These are the only pictures I have of it. It's a very distinctive cabinet - large, white and boxy, with no side art on at least one side of the machine. I can't tell if it has a trackball or dial controller or if it just has buttons, but I'm pretty confident that it doesn't have a joystick. There's at least one green rectangle button. The photos were taken in July 1987, so it wouldn't be any newer than that. I'd guess that it's from the late 70's or early 80's. This was a small town mall arcade, and we usually didn't get games until they were a few years old. Any help, or images of the full cabinet based on these clues, would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Cynicaster
These pics are great. Even though these photos are from Pennsylvania and I'm up here in Ontario, Canada it still looks so familiar. I have a home video of my birthday party in May '87 where my dad filmed me and a bunch of friends having a good time 80s style and, honestly, this guy... ... would have fit right in at my party with that outfit. Just about everyone at my party was wearing an outfit just like it, including me of course. Edited August 3, 2023 by Cynicaster
schuwalker
These pics are too cool. Pretty interesting this particular Aladdin's Castle was rocking still some of the classics. I spy Discs of Tron, Pacland in a Tapper cab, Crossbow sans crossbow, Galaga, Elevator Action, Sinistar and a Bally 6 pack cab to name a few. Circa this era, my local Aladdin's pretty much switched to all Jamma games and was devoid of the classics.

I seem to recall there was a law passed or something because the calorie intake was so insane for a non-diet soda, that it was enough to almost kill a man, hahah... that bottle is almost as big as that kid's torso!!!
