Petscii Robots Now in Color

There are two versions for the Atari 8 bit, one mono, one color. What is sub par? I thought it was done to keep it true to the original.

Compare the A8 color version with the C64 version on YouTube.  I do realize it is called PETscii and not ATAscii or A8scii for a reason. We all know how much David loves his Commodores.  It’s just a shame the A8 ports seems to get the least love because the size of the C64 home brew retro enthusiast scene is massive compared with the A8 scene due to the significant difference in # computers originally sold. Same as the demo scene. Some of latest C64 demos are just sick (ridiculously good) whereas the latest A8 demos are very meh by comparison. Economies of scale.

Rewind and Alley dog demos from last Summer are stunningly good.

Perhaps the Rewind and Alley Dog crew should try their hand at an A8 Petscii port.
