Harry Potter
What does CIOV DOS error returned by DOS mean? I've been wondering why an updated version of MadLibAtari to use a memory enhancement of my own creation didn't work, and it seems that the story data doesn't load. When it tries to open the file containing the story data, I get DOS error #1. I have information on DOS errors, but it doesn't specify Error #1. The closest I get are #3 and #129. Harry Potter
I found the problem with MadLibAtari: Error #1 seems to be no error, and the code to load the Aux memory seems to assume that #0 means no error. Sorry for wasting your time.
flashjazzcat
Negative flag will be set on returning from CIOV when an error occurred. If N=0, no error.

TGB1718
Have a look at this, note: error codes below 128 are BASIC errors so as @flashjazzcat said 128 and greater are negative codes. Atari Error Codes.bmp
