Glad you liked the variations. For me it's very difficult to get a right tone, that's why so many variations. When I test on real hardware, that's where I see something that can be improved, unlike an emulator that brings you the best resolution and image of old hardware. I'm releasing one more variation and probably the last one, and regarding the last update tree that was bothering me a bit for sharing so many colors with the other props.

I also only knew the Jungle King version when I was a child and I played it a lot in Arcades, I loved hearing Tarzan's famous scream, it seemed like something from another world, it was fantastic. I only got to know the Jungle Hunt Arcade as an adult, so I had never understood before why they changed the Tarzan for the hunter in the Atari 2600 version.

This is my version released by Polyvox, which was the representative of the Atari brand in Brazil. I keep this version very fondly.

Jungle Hunt Arcade (NTSC version)

What has changed?

The tree, now visible only its branch and the green foliage in which the woman is hanging by the rope.
On the other hand, there was an increase in the caldera with a protruding edge.

Jungle Hunt - Good Night ? (NTSC / PAL version)

What would a Jungle Hunt look like at night? It would certainly be even more dangerous, with creatures that hunt at night.

THE FINAL VERSION

What has changed?

The crocodile river now in violet color.
The woman hanging and tied by the green vine has gained a new dimension, this is almost or equal to the dimensions of the hunter and more similar to its Arcade counterpart. Unfortunately for this it was necessary to remove the tree.
I provide in this version two ROMS, one with yellow crocodiles and the other with pink crocodiles. In Arcade, crocodiles are a mixture of pink and yellow.
I hope you like it and enjoy the final version.
Maybe in the not too distant future I will still try to mess with all the sprites from the hunter to the cannibals, with the exception of the woman who is great in appearance, in my opinion, has nothing more to add to her.
For now, this will be the final version.

The girl's face and her long hair were updated.
The girl hanging from the vine no longer shares her face color with her locks of hair.

Color corrected in both versions.

This time I wanted to base it on the amazing artwork on the box and the cartridge label, I love this artwork. I used the Jungle Hunt (Bug Fix) version by Omegamatrix as a base, which fixes bleeding vines, link below:

JUNGLE HUNT - LABEL EDITION ?

In the Label Edition version, the hunter wears brown boots and helmet, in addition to socks. Other changes include new background colors, a new sprite for the cannibal and the girl in the cauldron partially modified, highlighting the little love hearts of a happy ending.
