JB
at the local gamestop they have 2 GG, one with a red label, and one with a metalic looking one. is it worth 5 bucks, and wich one should i get? i was thinking the metalic one, sense it looks newer and therefore has more codes on it. I would get both. This way if one of them breaks, you can always use the other one. Or stack them together for a whopping TEN active codes. I think the Zelda cart for the NES was gold or maybe I am just confusing it with the gold box for the GBA box for the new Link game.Yes. The original Legend of Zelda and Zelda 2 carts were metallic gold. Alas, this tradition did not carry on to the SNES and GameBoy, and only in a limited form for the N64(pre-order copies of Ocarina of Time were gold-colored). I opened my Zelda 1 out of curiosity. While mine's not "platic", it is black too. And it's plastic. Guess there's a run on gold paint then. Personally, I think Nintendo's just cheaper than they used to be.
