Mockduck
Interesting timing; I just put the final touches on my next video, which by coincidence is Gravitar 2600. The game seems very different, much slower paced and forgiving in terms of instant death if you touch anything.
+sramirez2008
It does appear to be much more forgiving. I think I'll purchase this one when it comes out. I haven't purchased anything since Breakout.

+sramirez2008
It kind of has a World of Goo look to it. I do like the little bit of the music that's in the trailer.
digdugnate
The arcade game was hard has heck for me. I hope the Recharged version has slightly easier gameplay for us noobs. ?
+SabertoothRetro
I wonder how controls will compare to Thrustlander? That game does the Classic Controller perfectly. This will be almost a direct comparison.

The user-friendly way to play Gravitar is the Atari 2600 version where you get 100 ships, because you will die A LOT. I'm kind of a fan of the genre, and that one in particular. This remade one looks a lot easier, and I like the graphical design. I also liked Thrust, OIDS and Continuum, which are the same kind of thing. Continuum (shareware for old Macintosh) allowed you to create your own levels, which was unique at the time. Everything you ever wanted to know about Continuum: https://www.ski-epic.com/continuum_downloads/ I'm gonna get the new Atari version, probably on the Switch because I like playing in handheld mode, and since Atari VCS seems to be all but finished. Here's a similar game for Steam, Switch, PS4, etc in the meantime: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1238340/Terra_Lander_II__Rockslide_Rescue/ https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/terra-lander-ii-rockslide-rescue-switch/ https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP3515-CUSA18899_00-ROCKSLIDERESCUUS https://www.gog.com/en/game/terra_lander_ii_rockslide_rescue 1

This is one of my favorite purchases for the VSC 800.
Atari_JaguarVCS
Really looking forward to this game I think it looks really good!. I’ll be picking it up on the Atari VCS first as that’s where I prefer to play these games, hopefully it has a few extras exclusive to the VCS like the other Recharged games. I’ll also grab it on all the other platforms.

Mockduck
This game is gonna be great with the Classic, pretty much guaranteed based on the general quality of the Recharged series so far.
Atarick
Looks like a cleaner version of Thrustlander, a game I like but found near impossible to play (and enjoy). If they can get the adaptation to the classic controller down, looks great.
+swlovinist
What a great choice for a recharged game. I am so happy with this decision. I cant wait to play it.

ParanoidLittleMan already added jagpad controls to the ST version... Also, it should get a VCS port

E. King
I really hope it has a control option to use the spinner controls to rotate the ship like in Asteroids & Thrustlander.
