+Larry
I'm curious about the 810 Happy roms. I'm sure that the early version(s) of the Happy firmware were put into eproms, but I don't recall ever reading about Rev7 in eprom. Has it been? The cost of the Rev7 rom is pretty low at $25, and I think that's also what it was priced at when it was released, so it is not a costly upgrade. But it also means (I think) that anyone with an 810 Happy clone can't easily upgrade to Rev7. Of course, there are both advantages and disadvantages to upgrading from the earlier firmware. ijor
Rev 7 ROM is banked, similar as the Happy 1050 rom. It requires some external logic to emulate the banking, again, as the Happy 1050 ROM. You can't just burn a new rev 7 firmware to replace the original Happy 810 rom.
