+Larry
I have a sticking function key on an 800. I'm pretty sure this is mechanical binding of the keycap. What kind of lube would be good for the plastic keys? I would think that anything with petroleum could potentially soften the plastic. Silicone? If so, what kind? Or? Keatah
I use Synthetic Polyolefin (PAO) grease M-Kote EM-30L on small plastics of all kinds. https://www.dupont.com/products/molykote-em-30l-grease.html https://readingplastic.com/choosing-the-right-lubricant-for-plastic-parts/ You can search on ebay for DOW CORNING MOLYKOTE EM-30L like so: https://www.ebay.com/itm/280612855824
Keatah
Silicone is also good. Must look for something that is non-petroleum based. I also recommend something that you can brush on. The smaller the part the more suitable brush-on application is it would seem.
