I've been using a Genesis model 1 PSU with my Jag for over 20 years now and never had an issue. I do have an OEM PSU connected to my JagCD but again, same specs. RollOut Posted March 20, 2023 Share Posted March 20, 2023 I am also using a genesis model 1 PSU. I tried ordering an after market PSU that said it was jaguar compatible off ebay a while back. Turns out they had the polarity backwards (I double checked before plugging in). I was lucky I didn't fry my Jag. After that I just stuck with the model 1 Genesis PSU, and no issues. They're not going to put you out of a home or ruin the planet, but if you like efficiency for efficiency's sake, get a modern switching power supply with equivalent specs instead.
