I didn't see a thread on this in the 5200 forum, so...

This guy's been making simple-type games for a multiplicity of platforms (for a while now), which includes the Atari 8-bit Computers and 5200. They're pretty fun.

You can find them all here: Inufuto - Games

Nice find!  Have to hand it to him: the games are definitely simple, but really do play well.  Quite addictive, too.

I've attached .zip archives of both the 5200 and A8 games to this post; hopefully, I'm not overstepping any bounds by doing so.  If I am, someone please let me know and I'll remove them.

Somebody else initially brought it up on the 8-bit forum about a year ago: Inufuto does Atari 8-bit!

I guess he was working on a lot of other platforms, before the Atari 8-bits were added to the list at that time. The 5200 wasn't added until the very end of November/beginning of December -- except Cracky, which is brand new for all platforms. I just happened to notice the 5200 listed when I was checking out the new game.

Yeah, the games are quite playable, some more than others -- but all worth a play.

I don't think there's any problem with it.

Cacorm has somewhat of a Quantum-type of play to it, although the stars are static (not moving), the idea is to draw a line collecting as many as possible, eventually collecting them all while avoiding contact with the enemies, the more stars you capture in one box, the more points you get. Also has some nuances similar to some of those in Qix.

It also loops back to level 1 after level 10.  Gets decently difficult with three ghosts roaming the playfield.
