Rickster8
Is it possible to re-map a SEGA controller or an XBOX ONE controller or any similar to these types of controllers to an INTY System II? I play most of my Intellivision on an Inty System II with rewired Flashback controllers.... The reason I ask is the game Defender STUPIDLY was setup with the hyper-space button as a number on the keypad, button 5, whereas the rest of the game is side button played.... You can never play this game parked with fingers / thumbs on the side buttons and then get to hyper space on the number pad fast enough..... I'm looking for a way to use an alternate controller so I can get to the hyperspace button easier so I can actually realistically use it.... Thoughts? JoeM_Intellivision
I believe grips08 (name?) did some of these with the Sega controller if I’m not mistaken. They were made to order & by time I got around to it not sure if more are being made but it can be done. 1
mr_me
That Sega controller adapter won't give you any keypad buttons. With Intellivision Defender any keypad button will hyperspace. Not ideal but it's better than putting it on the opposite side button. The Intellivision controller is best as a two action button controller. vtadave
Grips03(?) made one for me and it works great. Has a key pad as well.
+grips03
Yes, adapters I made had built in keypad. No longer making them.
