jer10571
So I was going through some more 'grab bag' eproms I got from Jameco. And checking the 27c020's I noticed one of them had an Atari sticker on it. When I read it with my eprom reader, I noticed that there was some Jaguar text in the hex. I went through all eproms left in that tube (some had no labels and I already erased them) and there were more. Here is a picture and the bins I created. 3 of them have the same checksum, so I'm sure they are dups. Not sure if they are of any value to anyone, but I'll hold off on doing anything with them for now. One of them, I didn't really see anything, and the second one in the picture mentions Virtual Light Machine v0.9 Jaguar cd-rom version 1994 also 'Ian's Imag buf' was in there. I've never physically seen/played a Jaguar, but maybe these eproms are games? BIOS? Etc? Anyway, I just thought someone might know what they are or maybe they are important. I figured I'd put them here because of the Ikari Warrior's eproms I found for the 2600 we concluded were most likely stored games by atari and sold off when they were taken over and the new management felt there was no value to them. (or something along those lines) 27c020_1.BIN 27020_Atari_1.BIN 27020_Atari_Jaguar.BIN 27020_Atari_Jaguar1.BIN 27020_Atari_Jaguar2.BIN 27020_Atari_Jaguar3.BIN
+madman
27c020 would be suitable for a Jag CD BIOS. Maybe someone with BigPEmu could see if these do anything (I'm assuming one supplies their own CD BIOS for this).
+Mitch
The one labeled 27020_Atari_Jaguar is the final version CD BIOS. The ones labeled 27020_Atari_Jaguar1/2/3 are all the same and appear to be an almost final version of the CD BIOS. (June 12, 1995) The one labeled 27020_Atari_1 appears to be a bit earlier version of the CD BIOS. (March 5, 1995) The one labeled 27C020_1 does not appear to be Atari related. (No EPROM window cover) Mitch
