Very cool. I like that Atari is diversifying a bit in genre. Also, I like that the VCS is first in the console list at the end. Promote that console, Atari

I love the art style!  but I'm not a fan of the post-apocalyptic zombie genre, so will probably pass for that reason

So glad Atari is pubishing 1st party games that aren't the just usual Asteroids/Centipede remakes (though I still like those).

 

I know the post-apocalyptic zombie genre is now old hat but it looks like they also incorpated magic so it'll have like a "Dies The Fire" feel to it.

Interestingly, it looks like the game itself has since been taken out of the Google Play store. 

I am not personally a fan of roguelikes, but so far Sneakybox's track record is great, so.

Taken down because Atari isn't focusing on mobile games anymore -- one of their reports released last year said they were going to repurpose some mobile games to PC/console, and I think Citytopia was one of them too along with Days of Doom.

I think it's an entertaining game because of the trailers, I like these types of games so I'll surely buy it when it comes out

I finally got time to sit down last night and play Days of Doom and its turned out to be far better than i expected. I wasn't to sure if it would be my kind of game, its not the kind of game i would normally play much being turned based but wow its really good! I ended up spending a good few hours playing it and I'm looking forward to playing it again tonight, so much fun to be had with this game and its pretty challenging to.

Here's a gameplay only video of the tutorial and first proper "run" of the game on the VCS.  It's a solid turn-based, tactical RPG.  If you like this kind of game and you're not entirely burned out on the "zombie" thing, its worth a look.

Cool, do you think it is worth £24.99?  I've kinda put a limit on how much I spend but I really want to support Atari and buy all their new games.

I think its worth the price, its a great game in my opinion and far better than i thought it would be. The best thing to do before buying it would be to check out some YouTube videos and go from there but i think £24.99 is a good price point on this one.

I like Days of Doom, I thought the tactical combat worked great and while a bit grindy was really nicely done:

Bought this game and having controller issues when the game launches. The modern controller works half the time and the classic controller is totally non responsive. All other games, apps, both controllers work just fine.
