NE146 Posted July 25, 2023 Share Posted July 25, 2023 I didn't think it was possible to even come up with a pattern that you could reliably repeat in Atari 8-bit Pacman, because as you noted, the ghosts have a randomness to them. To me back in the 80's, that was a pretty huge negative. In Ms. Pacman sure.. put in the randomness because that's how the arcade was. But in Pacman, what we wanted at the time was to be able come up with patterns like we could in the arcade.
