It is always nice when a big indie/homebrew/retro gaming site decide to write about the Atari Lynx.

 

Thanks to the Atari 50 collection, Indie Gamer Chick decided to check the whole Atari Lynx games set. The first part of the extensive review is online with around 25 games, including commercial, prototypes and some homebrews. As you will read, there is no notation, only a Yes or No given to the game, based on her personal judgement on playability and fun in 2023 so while we all may disagree on some games, it is always well explained...

Interesting.  Predictably she trashes Bill & Ted and Basketbrawl.  Everyone else does too, so I'm not shocked.  Buy as one of the very few fans of those two titles, I'm always hoping for a positive review.

 

She also trashes California Games and Dracula the Undead, but only after mentioning she hates those kinds of games already.  Oh well.  One of these years I'll get around to making my own contributions to the mini-review thread.

Rating a multiplayer game by single player is also not a good base for judgement.
