Wow, it seems the closest to my memories so far! I remember the game wasn't too colourful and the playfield was bigger than Maze War, that's why I suspected/suspect scrolling. The players are rather small in Warrior 3000, so it makes the level feel quite big actually. Some parts of level can be destroyed (shot), too, which can reflect my recalling of B. Dash-alike removing/eating parts(cells)of the labirynt. The only thing I'm missing is that "bingo!" emotion, so not yet, it can be, but I'm not sure it's the one I have in mind.
