Packaging looks good for my future releases?

Before I delve into creating Intellivision games I want to make sure the packaging is acceptable.  This is how far I've gotten with my Atari 2600 releases.  Of course, the insert will have to be adjusted for holding the cart.

 

Does this packaging look decent for an Intellivision release?  Any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated

I appreciate unique packaging and I like how this reminds me of imports from Asia bitd.

 

I think most Intellivision fans prefer packaging similar to releases from various publishers during the 80's.

 

There are several people who specialize in designing and producing boxes, manuals, overlays and it may be easier and/or cheaper to go that route.

 

Either way, it would be a good idea to reach out to mthompsom, the1hatman and Steve Jones.

 

Kamikazi26 can supply you with pcbs, cart shells and misc aspects of publishing.

Personally, I appreciate the homebrew nature of your packaging and 3d printed carts...  with all the advancements we've gotten away from the hand-made stuff.  I dig it

I like that we have a variety in packaging so I say go for it!

For me at least,as long as the box is relatively the same size and shape of other Intellivision and Intellivision Homebrew boxes,everything else is great however you want to make it.👍

Generally around here everything is made with a box,instructions, the cartridge and hopefully 2 overlays also.

Whatever game your making I'm sure will be well received and much appreciated.

Yeah gotta have overlays, even if you only use the side buttons, it’s an Intellivision thing.

I do like diversity in packaging and/or contents.  Just no weird shaped boxes.  Though if it's a fun game I will buy it regardless.

Just to clarify, is that a mocked up cardboard box? I can't tell if it's a case or cardboard. (I should probably look at it on my PC not my phone)
