2600+ Bezerk Enhanced

Claims to have diagnoal shots and voice - I thought th eoriginal had diagional shots, but for voice is this the remake done years ago?

What information about the newer version is that it’s 32k vs 16k of the hack and Dennis Debro worked on it.

In the Atari.com shop, it states under package contents "Atari 2600 game cartridge" so I guess that's all you get in the box.  There is a "coming soon" download for the manual on the same page.

I read that too but was still hoping it might have been an oversight.  I'd pay an extra few bucks for a nice, professionally printed manual to go with my other Atari game manuals.  Heck make it an option to click if anything.  It doesn't have to be sealed in the box.

The version Atari is selling is not this one

Yes, it will work on a real 2600

 

 

I think Al answered both of these in either the really large Atari 2600+ thread of the Atari Q&A thread. It would be easy to miss since both of those grew so big so quickly.

How exactly are they going to achieve this without an Atarivox + speech synthesizer? I’m very intrigued.

The 2600 is capable of playing sampled sound, including speech, without an AtariVox.
