I have been trying the various editors suggested, but I cannot seem to get atascii characters to show up onscreen. Im doing this on hardware. tried panther, a couple of other editors.. I swear there was a stupid simple editor i used back in the 80s that just worked perfectly - i remember drawing things on my atari touch tablet, converting with some tool to atascii, and then fixing it in some "dumb editor" ... which I really wish I could find...
