This one?  Dungeons of Daggorath

That very one! It was going so well until I underestimated how quickly the Galdrog (which I deliberately triggered by climbing back up to Level 2 in order to grind XP) would attack. To hit and run, you have to get the chance to hit and/or run...

Sept 2-8: very little gaming.

Android

RB College - 6 min

PC Modern

Faster Than Light - 90 min.

Finally played a round where I got to Sector 5. This was mostly due to a sector scanner pickup (allows you to see if ahip encounters are likely in neighboring jump locations). This unlocks the Engi ship. I am slowly making my way to the final encounter with a decent ship.

Not sure what to call this since this is a brand new real Castlevania game tucked away in the extras succession of a DS game port anthology.

I have Pinball M in my library.  Probably need to give it a go sometime soon enough.

Also, I am sucker for a good puzzler, so I will check out V-Hunter especially considering it has a free demo.

I'm not into horror but the sale on tables made me pick up Duke Nukem and Chucky. System Shock was free because I bought it on Pinball FX, where it is mildly less gruesome. The built in Elder Gods table is a lot of fun. Performance is way better than it was before as well.

The big, evil corporation takes the title this week (no, I don't mean Sega nor Atari) with their Tanglewood and Solar Fox in strong second place. Unusually many of the games from last week's top lists are present, and for another week the Atari 2600 is the most played system. No changes to the 1000, 5000, 10000 Minute Clubs.

Atari 5200 - Pac-Man (for HSC) - 50 additional minutes

My best score for 5200 HSC Season 19, Round 7:

Pac-Man_2.thumb.png.5cc5c932e5847c348519a2032c193317.png

To reach this significant score, I applied hints provided by @tank in 5200 HSC Season 5, Round 20:

"Heres what works for me--5200 pacman's monsters are the most vicious ghosts out of all pacman ports(in my opinion) so i think of it as survival pac man lol. The goal is to survive until the 7th key. The 5th key, the 7th key and beyond the ghost never turn back to normal once you eat a power pill. You can run your score till it turns over and beyond. From cherry up to 5th key Dont worry about racking up points, eating monsters or eating fruit or keys....Just get past each screen clearing all the dots the best you can while surviving the onslaught of the 5200 ghosts. Really no set pattern but i start off all screens clearing the bottom row from left to right to the power pill. I also use the inner and upper corridors around the ghost house for escape.Dont be distracted by fruit and eating ghost for racking up points and you will make it eventually to that 7th key. It took me about 25 games and about 9 hrs to make it lol."
