Geister
Does anybody know of a replaccement for the rubber feet on the 5200 console? From the outside they appear to be rounded rubber domes and actually have a tapered button underneath that squeezes through the plastic case to keep the foot in place. The original feet are hardened to coal and when i popped one out to check for hidden screws, it came out fairly easily, but it is nearly impossible to force it back into the hole. I'm thinking about soaking the rubber in belt treatment solution, but I'm afraid it will turn to goo. +Starwander
I tried to remove one on my console and it had the same problem. It disintegrated when taking it out. They seem fairly straight forward to have remade; if there was a demand I could try to get a batch made. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/361449-replacement-rubber-feet/#findComment-5412800 Share on other sites

Not really sure how high of demand it is, but I do have a console that is missing one. And knowing how they are now after all this time, I probably would buy new ones. The 5200 originally has a peg backed style that pulls through a hole to lock it in place.
