800 still boots to Memopad if Fujinet is not powered externally

Happens fast.  Memopad appears in less than 2 seconds.

 

I installed firmware 1.3.0 on my v1.0 Fujinet but this behavior did not change.

Have you tried external power to the Fujinet?  The 400/800 boot cycle is too fast for the Fujinet to boot itself.

I was only able to test on my 400. Someone on Discord tested with their 800 and confirmed it worked for them. You must have an ultra fast 800 😂

 

There is still some more optomization to be done which will further speed up Fujinet readiness.

We have been trying to make the cold start faster on the FujiNet. The work thus far has been folded into v1.3.

We've been able to make some progress, but still some more time needs to be shaved.

Starting to look like it depends on the 800 and it depends on the FujiNet hardware, some 800's appear ready slightly faster as do some Fujinets, it's close/real close. Works for some not for others type close.
