Brad2600
The time has come for me to trim my collection and as much as I don't normally like doing this, I am going to sell off my entire INTV collection. I am waiting for the advice of one other collector before I decide how I'm going to sell the games. I have a lot of nice boxed games. I have almost all the Imagic games (minus 3) boxed and some complete. According to the price guide I use, some of the games have rarities as high as 8. I will post more info once I get the advice of the collector I'm trying to contact. *edit: I'm having doubts about selling*
Xot
Don't do it. You'll kick yourself later. You know you will.
Brad2600
No choice man. Got bills to make. It's either the INTV collection or my Odyssey2 Or maybe my copy of Up-N-Down. I need to raise at least $20 or more.
Xot
Talk to me about this Odyssey 2 of yours....

If all you're trying to raise is $20, sell off the common games across all your gaming systems that you don't play that know you could get back without a major hassle. Brad2600
Well then Up N Down is a R7 so I might be able to sell that without hassle. As for the O2, I don't think I could bare to sell it. I don't know. I'm not looking for a whole bunch of money.
Xot
If you consider selling that O^2, come to me first. I still don't have one of those things.
Brad2600
I might take sku_u's advice and sell off random games of high rarity. My copy of Up N Down for the 2600 is up on Ebay now. That's the rarest game I have left. Every other game is R6 and below.

tyranthraxus
I sold off my INTV collection at Xmas. I had three systems and broke it into three lots. Made about $100 for them. But I have hung on to a loose Fathom that I'm holding onto for trade bait. And a boxed Tron just because its cool I don't regret selling it for second. I liked the money, I liked the free shelf space even more. I hardly played it as the games didn't really grab me, except for the AD&D games and the Imagic games are quite collectable. Its really hard selling off a system, I've waffled on selling other stuff several times but have finally took the plunge and am ebaying the last of my XE collection. Which took me some 3 months to finally get the nerve to do (and an bare wallet). And after agonizing for a month I am stripping my 7800 collection down to just the 10 games I really play on it - I was going to sell it all but I wussed out When I'm rich and have a house I know I can always buy the stuff I had back off ebay, in probably better condition. Brad2600
I dunno. I trust the advice of members on here when it comes to selling things and I've had luck selling things thanks to the advice of a few who shall go unnamed. If things were better now, I would not be trying to sell off things. It's almost as if I've had an ephiphany of what I need to do to stay afloat. It doesn't mean selling off everything. It just means that I need to make sacrifices in some areas in order to keep a roof over my head and thus far.
