Ive drilled through a few on other projects, cars mostly, and if you take a bit just a little larger than the inner diameter, you should take out enough metal for the rivet to fall out. BTW, CPU, how did you end up cutting the rivets? Id be affraid not to drill for the fear of hurting the board itself. You could drill through the rivet without touching the board at all. One question, any good soldering (Soildering) tutorials out on the net? Ive seen a few that are almost great, and took a class way back in grade school, but I want to get a refresher. Artlover Posted April 30, 2004 Share Posted April 30, 2004 Digikey, Mouser, and many other electronics parts dealers all sell an assortment of 30pin pc mount cardedge connectors.
