4. Street Fighter 2

3. Space Invaders

2. Super Mario Bros

1. Pong

The best I can do is limit it to 15 games. Bear in mind, these are not necessarily my favorite games. They are just the games that I think were the most influential on the future of videogames:

15. Adventure

14. Virtua Racer

13. Panzer Dragoon Orta

12. Tetris

11. Half-Life

10. Super Mario Bros.

9. The Legend of Zelda

8. Star Fox

7. Dragon's Lair

6. Pitfall

5. The entire Final Fantasy series

4. Pacman

3. Pong

2. Space Invaders

1. Myst

i agree with many of the ones mentioned,so im not going to make a list but one game that noone has mentioned yet is phantasy star 1,it may not have been as popular as similar nintendo games but it was the first RPG to be released in the U.S. and has influenced most RPG's since that time

my top 7 in no order:

Pac-Man (maze games 1980's)

Tetris (almost every puzzle game)

Gauntlet (Diablo etc)

Tomb Raider (3D prince of persia)

Wolfenstein 3D (1st person games)

Warcraft (modern strategy games)

Ultima (1980 to today...you still see top down rpg's)

Alone in the Dark (survival horror...I hate that term)

You could go on and on and argue facts like Temple of Apshai came out before gauntlet but then Gauntlet was more popular. Also, Tomb Raider was derived from Prince of Persia and Alone in the Dark was out way before Resident Evil.

Lots and lots of arguements can be made.

Star Wars Arcade (THe Vector graphis wer big time)

Tetris (games are not just for kids anymore)

Atari Bowling (no Idea why, just wanted to put one of my favorite games inthe list

IMHO this game has some of the best graphics ever introduced into a videogame.

True, but it's very difficult to single it out as one of the most influential videogames of all time. It hasn't had time to influence anything yet, if anything you'd have to put the original Panzer Dragoon in there, but that wasn't really particularly influential either.

Very good games, though.

Putting together a list like this is very difficult in general as we're talking about 32+ years of videogames. I added this game to my list because I felt that its graphics will be a major stepping stone into the next generation of games.

Well, that's a fair point. Personally I think there are still many games that are currently more influential than that game, but I can see your way of thinking.
