No. The Lynx was the first prize, I just came first

 

3) Who came third and fourth?

3rd was moobaa (of the Llamasoft forums), 4th was Matt Bacon, IIRC.

 

4) I know the third and fourth place players must have played either Stone or Tyrant in the second round but who played who?

I played moobaa.

Just in case we had all forgotten what a great show we had There is a review of the show in the latest edition of 'Retro Gamer magazine'. There are 5 pages including interviews with Nick H of 1632 systems & Alain bairstow of Commodore scene. A full round up of the tournament results & a few piccies of the event.

Yeah I'm in the magazine - yipee.

 

Actually its a very good mag and the artical is quite nice as well. I recommend everyone buy a copy especially as there is lots of Atari stuff in it this month.

Hey, okies, lets use this thread to organize travel, coming events and what people are bringing, if you have anything u'd like yo suggest please direct either nick, gaztee or any others involved with the fest.

I heard that there's a Jagfest UK 2005 in the planning.

How about a new thread like this one for news of 2005?

 

I can't remember who told me a date, but it seems I

might be around in the UK at the right time, but it's

down in the south isn't it, and I'll be in the north-east.

 

Any news?

A organising committee was established at last years event, this committee is just starting discussions on/planning for this years event so that the location, dates and any other revlevant information will hopefully be announced several months in advance giving people plenty of time make plans for attending.

 

You are right in that the last two events were held in the South East and the location and dates for this years event will be announce once the committee has reached a decision but it was agreed last year that this years event would be held in sometime in September if that is any help.

 

For now just sit tight and wait for an official announcement at which time I'm sure a new thread will be started.
