Anybody got a spare copy of Windows?

I was wondering if anyone here has an older version of Windows which they've since removed from their computer and no longer need. I'm thinking of formatting my hard drive, and it would be nice to have something other than Windows (N)ME to use as an operating system. If you've got a legal copy of Windows 98SE or Windows 2000, or the official product keys for either OS, let me know how much you'd want for them, or what you'd trade for them.

I have copies of Windows 2000 they work fine, but arent legally made. Not what you are looking for though.

You looking for legal or illigal? I have a mint windows 2000, but they are worth too much, it goes for 90-120 bucks on ebay.

I'd actually like a working copy of Windows 1.0. The copies on all those abandonedware sites don't work. :/

I have a working copy stashed somewhere, I'll look around and let you know when I find it, it may take me a couple of weeks cause I think it is on an old 40 meg HD in one of my drawers. It looks pretty primitive, is B&W, and no programs were written for that version but is is interesting to look at if you like that kind of stuff.

im looking just for a windows 2000 disk, my computer was shipped with ME and they accdentally put on the 2000 license

I know I have the 'all windows' dvd set that was posted to Usenet a while back.. has every single version of Windows ever made up until about Jan 2004(?). If you're still hurting for a version of it.. I can probably dig it out for ya.
