Help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys

 

Hopefully someone can help me, my Falcon developed a fault, there seemed to be a break in the floppy cable giving a intermintent reading on the disk drive, to make matters worse I let my friend try to fix it, the idea being he would replace the floppy contector with a pc connector so i could use a standard pc floppy cable.

 

To say his soldering skills weren't as good as he lead me to believe is an understatment, I now have a falcon that can't read any floppys.

 

Does anyone know anywere I could get it fixed for a reasonable price I live in Northern Ireland, so it would need to be someone in the UK or Ireland.

Atari-Workshop are the guys you should talk to, you can find contact details on their website at www.atari-workshop.co.uk

 

They are an uthorised Atari repairer so should be able to fix your problem.
