Joecool
I need a 3.5" drive for an Apple IIgs computer. I got one from eBay and it is a pile of s$#@. It doesn't work at all, so I need to get one as soon as possible. If anyone has a known working 3.5" drive for an Apple IIgs computer, please LMK. Thanks, Dion
Stingray
Dion, I've got a bunch of them (somewhere). I'd rather trade than sell, do you have a trade list? -S
Tempest
Anyone have a spare monitor and mouse? Strangely I have the CPU, drive, and keyboard, but no mouse or monitor. Tempest
Atariman
Anyone have a spare monitor and mouse? Strangely I have the CPU, drive, and keyboard, but no mouse or monitor. Tempest You should be able to hook your IIgs into your television (at least I know that mine has that capability - not sure how much the IIgs varies). I don't remember if it was RF or just a video signal... As for the mouse, any old mac mouse should do. if you really can't find a mouse, I could probably dig one up somewhere. It wouldn't be the old boxy style that came with it, but the style I think came with macs around the early to mid 90's. The sad story about my IIgs is that I passed up the monitor for it - I looked at the monitor jack and thought to myself, "hey, that's just a mac monitor plug, so why would I want this tiny mac monitor?" Of course, I came home and found out that it isn't compatible with mac monitors... so that is how I came to hooking it up to my television. Of course it doesn't have a hard drive (just my trusty floppy drives) so its uses were already kind of limited... (I didn't get any software with it, either. )
Stingray
Tempest- go to ebay and search "ADB mouse". You can pick one up for five bucks without breaking a sweat. I have an extra GS monitor, but I don't think I'd want to part with it. Those things are pretty hard to come by. -S
Tempest
Meh. The monitor isn't hard to find, but the shipping is usually killer. I guess I'll just have to break down and do it though. Tempest
