keilbaca Posted December 16, 2004 Share Posted December 16, 2004 OK this is what happened. Start, Pause, and Reset did not work on a Atari 5200 controller. So, I opened it up, and see that the overlay was folded inside, breaking the traces. So, I scratched them to reveal metal, and tried to melt solder, to complete the connection. Well, turns out that my soldering iron gets too hot for it, and melted the plastic. The rest of the controller still works, but those 3 buttons are broke. Does anyone have an extra 5200 controller for sale, or the circuitry inside of it to replace it? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
