yuppicide
This is the most fun game I've come across in awhile. I've played it over and over. I play it atleast 5-10 times a day everyday. I fully plan on buying this when it comes out. I'm not a super graphic artist, but when a label design/box design contest comes out you can bet I'm gonna take a shot at one. Cybergoth
Hi there! Just in case you haven't already downloaded the final Crazy Balloon release version from the Mini Game Contest homepage, it is now also available straight from the AA database Greetings, Manuel
vdub_bobby
And the dead shall rise...... A quick question: what happens after you beat all 16 levels? Does the game end, or do the levels loop?
Cybergoth
Part of the fun is finding the answer to this on your own

I can't pass stupid level 5, or whichever first has the magnet. I've become really good at the first four levels, though.
Cybergoth
Some advice: - Make sure that you're playing in the beginner mode. It's a lot more rewarding for the start - Practice higher levels by skipping to them with SELECT.
yuppicide
Talk about ressurecting a post from the dead.. 2005! Anyway, I was just noticing I never did either of the things I said. Never tried a label/box design, never bought the game. I'm ashamed. This IS still a great freakin game. What is Manuel up to lately? This is the most fun game I've come across in awhile. I'm more interested in NES programming these days, albeit nothing to show as of yet.

Lord Helmet
I bought it too...and I love the game. I think I was the only one that submitted a score for the patch that was to be given away...sadly, I never got the patch

I must admit I was never paying too much attention on the contest, it just didn't happen. Maybe because the game is such an oddball.

sandmountainslim
Gentlemen! Programmers, players, storekeeps, Crazy Balloon is a great game and was a welcome addition to the VCS Library Let us not mourn that it didn't sell as many copies as Seawolf or Ladybug. It holds it's own. Wp
