At that point it will be worth it for the novelty of claiming games like Battlezone and Crystal Castles actually were released for the NES. No, it can't be modded to run NES carts, since the CPU is under a blob of glue. Go to www.benheck.com for lots of information about other systems "on a chip" like this.
