jetset
Anyone got a dead Gamecube? I inherited a system from my brother. It works fine but is missing one teeny piece, that being the spindle that holds the disk in place. The system powers up an works, but without anything to hold the disk in place it's worthless. Nintendo won't sell me just that piece...they want me to send it in for $50 bucks, which I can just go and buy a used one for that. Thanks! video game addict
If you don't receive any bites you might keep your eyes on ebay. They seem to fetch around $10-20 in this condition plus shipping, but I just looked at a few closed auctions that ended for around $1-2 range, & maybe around $10-15 shipped. You may even check the local pawn shops. I would guess they probably end up throwing away broke systems over time. You might get lucky on a disc read error for a fiver or so.. Can't hurt to check. Oh and here's what's on ebay right now. A couple for around $1 currently.
