That has higher then Windows 98 as an OS, DVD player would definitely rock, doesn't have to be huge hard drive but enough to put a few games and some music on it and be able to play cds/movies without freezing up bad, but most importantly good internet w/ DSL modem would be nice (wireless capabilities not necessary). I am sure I'm forgetting stuff but it's time to go back up. Please PM Z28in82 (hubby) w/ any offers or info as I will be laid up for quite a while still and after 5 weeks of bedrest am going crazy w/out the computer or being able to do much and greatly would appreciate any help! I'm not expecting a free deal we just didn't want to give Best Buy more of our buisness and it didn't need to be the newest on the market for what I want it for. Thanks again. finallywed0312 Posted November 6, 2005 Share Posted November 6, 2005 Hope everything is ok since you are going to be laid up for awhile. I found my laptop about 3 weeks ago at a sams club for 400.00. I probably just stumbled upon it but it was worth the money since i travel alot. You can also try dell since they do payment plans.
