WTB: Sega Saturn Japenese System & games

From what I can tell, you can actually just flip a few switches inside an American Saturn to make it play Japanese games.

Thanks for letting me know, do you have do some soldering to open and close them though? If so what would be used to close the points with? I couldn't quite find that info on the page.

Nope they're just jumpers that you can switch with a ball point pin.

I have a need to buy a Sega Saturn Japanese system and games (doesn't matter what kind of games).  Looking for package deals but if anybody has either the system or just games, msg me please.

i have a saturn converter and japanese versions of NIGHTS, and FIGHTERS MEGAMIX

 

i'll take 35 dollars for it all, shipped.

You couldn't be more wrong...

 

The jumper points are soldered together - to convert a system from one region to another, you need to desolder the original jumpers and solder bridge the appropriate ones.

 

The coolest region mod on the gamesx site is the "switchless" region mod... it is a little more involved than the switch mod, or just hardwiring a region, but it is well worth it.
