bedouin
You have no idea how happy I would have been to offer you this in 1991 or 1990.
AtariJr
I know this is slightly different, but I have a Tandy 1400 laptop that I use to play old arcade games on. Was the 1000 much different?
atari70s
it was a standard desktop computer with 1.44mb 3.5 drive. it was offered from radio shack as a word processor with the $25.00 option of a 15mb hard drive. ( i believe). i think the total was 329.00 brand new. but it was mis marketed and was the high end word processor. go figure. external 2400baud modem came with it in the package with the hard drive. so was the deskmate and aol disks. Atari-Jess
I had one of these a couple years ago. Gave it away to someone who I think later threw it out...

balcornc
I was randomly researching if there was any sort of a market for my Tandy 1000 RLX, which is in VERY VERY good condition, and also has a Tandy DMP 202 to go along with it, when I came across this topic. I have the cpu, monitor, mouse, keyboard, and printer all good to go, and I believe I still evenhave the deskmate disks somewhere. Now, I do kind of like having this piece of history, and I'm not sure I want to part with it; but I would be interested to see if the whole package is worth anything. Seriously, what would someone be willing to pay for this piece of computing history?
